Rapid Rainbow Rendezvous

All students at Auraria are invited to come kick off the Spring semester with the LGBTQ Student Resource Center to meet new peers and connect with community for our Rainbow Rendezvous. We will be hosting rounds of speed friending followed by a mixer. There will be free drinks, snacks, and good vibes!

QTPOC: Shades of Futurism

All Queer and Transgender Students of Color at Auraria are encouraged to join us for some fun activities and conversation, as we creatively imagine better futures together for our QTPOC: Shades of Futurism. Food and beverages will be provided.

Queer Skies Ahead: Crafting in Community

All LGBTQ Students at Auraria are encouraged to join the LGBTQ Student Resource Center for our crafting in community event Queer Skies Ahead: Crafting in Community. Throw it back to the 2000’s with some fun and nostalgic crafts! Food, drinks, and good vibes will be provided. 

Transgender Day of Visibility: Radiant & Seen

All Students at Auraria are invited to join us for a fun and supportive event to celebrate, honor, and commemorate Transgender Day of Visibility. The LGBTQ Student Resource Center along with the Gender Institute for Teaching & Advocacy, the Phoenix Center at Auraria, and the Center for Access and Campus Engagement present: Transgender Day of Visibility: Radiant & Seen. This space provides a safe and supportive opportunity to explore gender and gender expression through interactive stations that include, make-up, bow & tie tying, clothing, hygiene, and more. Showcase your style at our Gender Euphoria Runway! Food and beverages will be provided.

Spring '25 Lavender Graduation

Wednesday, April 30th | 4:00p - 6:00p | Tivoli Student Union, 320ABC - Baerresen Ballroom

The LGBTQ Student Resource Center will be hosting the Spring ’25 Lavender Graduation. Lavender Graduation is a recognition dinner in celebration of LGBTQ+ graduates. Auraria graduates who attend the event will receive a stole and certificate and graduates who cannot attend have the option to pick up their stole from the center.
